Spray To Help

NEW PERFUME FOR SAVE ME TRUST FOUNDATION SUPPORTING WILDLIFE WELLNESS AND DIGNITY

The “Spray to Help” mission is to promote significant improvements in the way the world addresses territory and community, contributing to the realization of solidarity development goals.

Choosing to adopt a specific project and contributing to its achievement with the company’s participation is one of the most effective ways to have an impact on the future and make an investment for the common good.

Spikes Hedgehog Food

The amazing guys from Webbox and Pets Choice who manufacture Spikes hedgehog food  have been supporting  with both food and financial support. They are helping us spread the word through our Amazing Grace campaign. Not only do they make great pet foods, but they really do care about wildlife. We’re so grateful and inspired by the help they’ve given us.

We are working with them on exciting new projects to understand a hedgehogs needs, health and diet. There are many myths  surrounding hedgehogs and we are looking at data and science for the answers.

The information we gather will help us find practical and sustainable ways  to support and increase hedgehog numbers.

Our ‘Surrey Heath Hedgehog  Survey’  is a 4 year project to establish population numbers within the borough and help us to improve  habitats  for hedgehogs and ultimately increase their numbers.  The  study started in 2018  and could not have gone ahead without the support of Spikes.

Each Surrey Heath School will receive a complete survey pack and a magazine all about hedgehogs and their plight. This will enable students of all ages to take part in our data collection. Our project is ambitious and with the continued support of Spikes we are well on the way to achieving our goal to improve the lives of hedgehogs and help them not only to survive but to thrive.

Beneath The Badger Tree

Jane Drury from Beneath the Badger Tree is once again sharing her magic with another online event ‘The Earth, Air and Art Fair” for the Save Me Trust. Jane is passionate about her wildlife and supporting our work.  She says about her own work “whether it’s a necklace or an ornament, bookmark or engagement ring box, each tiny creature has a character of its own and uses my fingertips to help bring it to life so it can share its joy and bring a smile. These little guys are a reminder of why we love the wildlife we share this Earth with. They can be packaged in lovely recycled gift boxes so come ready for giving. And with donations made to wildlife charities from some sales, these little fellas help to protect our beautiful British wildlife too”

Red Special Meet Up 2022

A huge thank you to all of the guys from the “Red Special Meet-Up 2022” who, together with Susan Ermish-Gunther raised an incredible £1000 for the Save Me Trust.

On Saturday, March 26th 2022, in sunny and 97ºF Phoenix, Arizona, the second-ever “U.S. Red Special Meet-up” took place to celebrate the impact Brian May continues to have on aspiring musicians, in every stage of their musical journeys. The center point of the meet-up was the incredible story behind the iconic homemade guitar, lovingly crafted by an intrepid Brian and his enigmatic father, Harold. How an ambitious young man’s musical aspirations paired with his father’s derring-do attitude where “anything worth doing is worth overdoing” brought to life such a unique piece of musical history gathers enthusiasts from around the world to share in mutual appreciation and fellowship… and attempts to unlock Brian’s tonal secrets!
