Required for a 6 week running period Hours: Flexible

As we are out in the sticks, you must have a driving licence and use of car. Flexibility with times as there will be night time filming as well as early morning and day time

Dr Brian May’s Save Me Trust and Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue are looking for an enthusiastic and capable film maker and photography student.

The role will involve working across a variety of film projects around within and around our wildlife hospital.

We are looking for an all-rounder who wants to contribute ideas and develop concepts as well as bring these to life through their technical and production abilities.

The role will involve: Concept development, Storyboarding, Filming/recording & Video editing

Experience in motion graphics/basic animation is also desirable, as is an appetite to learn and develop new skills and play a role in helping others in the team to build their knowledge of visual media.

Filming will mainly be at our working on-site wildlife hospital, although occasional accompaniment when out on a rescue.

Skills and experience:

The successful candidate may be straight out of university with a relevant degree, or have experience or currently working in video/film production.

A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates relevant video production experience. An interest in and knowledge of film production and photography.
An experienced camera operator, producer and video editor.

The right applicant will be motivated, be able to communicate creative ideas succinctly and convincingly, have good attention to detail and be able to work in calm and efficiently when under pressure.
